Competitive Pokemon (AKA I don't have an attention span)

Bianca: Me
Ah, the Battle Subway. A great experience for anyone wanting a good battle; especially to get those lovely battle points that can be used for anything from glasses to plant bulbs. And what would be the purpose of all this, you say? Well, it's to practice for competitive Pokemon battling! Yes! You know, when two people love each other very much put their best Pokemon against someone else's Pokemon to win. Usually for fabulous prizes. But the biggest prize, in my opinion, is being THE POKEMON CHAMPION. But then, there are many complications, most of them being time. Let's find out why I can't do ANY of it!

Step 1.) The Pokemon.
"Want to use Pokemon that you like? Too bad! Well, depends on your taste of Pokemon. If your favorite Pokemon are Escavalier, Conkeldurr, Terrakion, Gothitelle, Thundurus, and Hydreigon (which I think is the team of the winner of the Pokemon World's '11)  EXACTLY, then you're out out of luck", Karen said as a hopeless look filled her face.

It is true that some Pokemon have better stats at others in certain things. And that just plain sucks. If you did want to use your favorite Pokemon, that's alright, but it won't cut for going Pro. Battling with your friends is perfectly fine.

Step 2.) The Training
From egg breeding to IV/EV training to even the moves I'm choosing, I just plain can't think of all that. And keeping track of it is just plain gibberish to me. I think I've got the basics down, IV are hidden values that determine what your Pokemon is good at and what it it's bad at. EVs are something to help your Pokemon grow in a certain stat, etc. That's all, right? Wait, there are the natures, too? And the items? Oh my.

Step 3.) Derp till you Herp
For some reason, beyond my control, I just act STUPID. No matter what battle. Friend or competitively. Let's say you're in this situation: You're facing a Serperior, and you have a Samurott and a Chandeloure. I'd choose the Samurott. One hit, KO-ed. Maybe I have just too much trust in my Pokemon? Maybe I think my Ferrothorn can last an Inferno from a Emboar? (Hint: It CAN'T.) I don't honestly don't know. I just lose all thought processes and go for the stupidest moves ever.

Maybe I can actually get through this. Maybe I can't. We'll see how this all goes.
